stomp on all the dead bodies so the bat things cant bring them back to life. When they take over a body they create the harder black monsters, but this way you should have no problem passing the bat monster parts at least.

2 weeks ago most of you here would be talking about how crappy and fake VG chartz is, or how they are xbox fanboys, but now its ok. I actually think the guy is a Wii fanboy if anything.

will I lose my trophies? Are they stored on sonys servers and attached to my PSN id? Since my ps3 is new I want to reformat my HD and stick with 2.8 for a while, but not if I loose my trophies.
edit- Im doing it anyways. I found I can backup my data so hopefully I can restore my save after I reformat my HD.
for the extra freezing of a few games. Not sure if its 100% due to the update but uncharted keeps freezing up, and very time I try to load my game it freezes. KZ 2 worked fine. I hope they fix it soon.
I dont think the Wii will have overheating problems
it should be more like top 10 or 15. Whats the point of listing 25 of the greatest consoles if you have to include a bunch of failures in it. At least it didnt have the virtual boy on the list.
I dont think current gen consoles should be on it cause they arrnt close to finished yet.

shouldn't you "hardcore MGS fans" give them the benefit of the doubt and at least try it or see some of the game before labeling it as a huge disappointment?

I went looking for one this sunday at BB and guess what? They had like 20 of them out in a pile. I got to look through them all and get the one with out bent corners on the box. I got mine, so I really dont care if they sell out now or not.

unless its normal for uncharted to freeze twice within 10 min. Got my Ps3 this weekend and rented uncharted today. The disk is fine and KZ 2 worked fine. Uncharted doesnt work right.
I just rented it today and it has frozen twice. It started ok and I finished the part on the boat at the beginning but it froze as soon as I was in the jungle. I loaded it up again and this time it just froze on a black screen.
Ohh well at least its not my Ps3 thats messed up.

Im not a pc fanboy at all. I have a PS3, 360 and a PC. My PC isnt capable of producing the visuals of the ps3 or 360.

its something you can use in PC games if you have an Nvidia GPU. Its pretty much just extra effects, like steam or extra debris flying around.

main thing I noticed was it had sparkles. I wasnt down for the avatars when they brought them to xbox but they ended up being ok. I dont think the friends list changes or some font really makes much of a difference. Its not like you have a PS3 to play the friends list anyways. they will probably do something good with that grey box later, then all these people will say "I knew it all along," "sony is great."

I just finished killzone 2 today and actually stopped and looked at the fire and thought "this is some poor looking fire." I was looking at something that was on fire in the level(a burning drop ship I think) and not a burning person so maybe thats why it looked bad. I actually thought the fire in KZ 2 stood out as pretty bad compared to everything else around it.

The nemesis was the same idea of Mr. X from RE 2. Mr. X would show up on your second playthough as leon an beat you to death. He would break through walls and freak you out. It was really scary because you idnt expect it since you had already played the game once without the guy chasing you around.
